Tina M. Zion, author of Be Your Own Medical Intuitive, has penned two prior books on this topic. (2021, inside front cover) This is the third in that series. She is a registered nurse.

This book is divided up into four parts. The first part introduces the reader to how they can become a medical intuitive by defining what that is and the essential points of that process. What can block you from this process, how to recognize your intuition via body sensations, etc.. The second portion invites the reader to acknowledgement of thoughts and emotions and how they direct everything from visualization to manifestation.  It also touches on our energy fields and how to power them up as well as how we should communicate with our bodies. Part three tells us how to heal ourselves and not let the bad energy of others affect ours. The final section is about how to heal and it ties all of the prior sections into outcomes and outputs.

I am sure you all have questions and here are some answers according to Zion. Page 14 (2021) talks about the eleven keys to learn about intuition. They are as follows: “you are already intuitive, intuition is simply a matter of noticing a different way, intuition will never stop feeling like your imagination, you must allow yourself to receive, intuition is not a gift that only a few people have, everyone is intuitive, intuition is a learned skill, intuition is simply information, intuition is noticing the very subtle information around you and within you, intuitive information comes from both the non-physical and the physical realms, you can learn the steps to intuitively learn all about yourself.” For instance, Zion states, “Nature constantly responds to you because you are not separate from it.” (p.53)

Don’t worry if you don’t get it all the first time around. Zion says, “Each of us learns and thinks in different ways. Some more in images or sounds, and some learn more from lists and words.” (2021, p.119) And that we should remember, “We are all spirits within a spirit world. We are non-physical and physical at the same time.” (p.181)

Advice from Zion as you process this information and move into your intuitive self are to, “Check in with yourself frequently. Emotions crop up in surprising ways and at surprising times. Negative emotions, painful memories, and secrets are thick and sticky and can make us terribly ill, physically and mentally.” (2021, p.210)  I can believe this.

As you move through this book and the exercises Zion has prepared for you she tells us, “…relationships are one of the causes of illness.” (2021, p.243) The goal or end result is not to be more important than the other people in our lives, but to make ourselves as important as they are. (paraphrase) Zion asks us to look deep inside and consider the following: “Who in your life consistently causes you the most pain, the most sorrow, the most agitation or anger, or is a constant thorn in your side? That person is your greatest teacher.” (p.249)

I don’t want to give away all of her secrets before you buy the book. If you are into self-healing and are self-conscious or aware, this book is perfect for you. I enjoyed reading it and learned a lot too.
