Allan Becker: Allan for over 45 years designed and planted gardens for others, as a hobby. Now retired from the soft goods industry, where he held several positions in design and product development, he has turned his passion for gardening into a second career as a perennial garden consultant to private clients.
He earned a B.A. from McGill University, followed by two years of design studies at Sir George Williams University [now Concordia]. He lives in Montreal with his wife, Hessa, and travels regularly to Toronto and Boston to visit his children and grandchildren.
