ABOUT THE AUTHORS TV features interviews with Karin Slaughter, Sue Monk Kidd, Brad Meltzer, Scott Turow, Catherine Coulter, John Douglas, Beverly Jenkins and more…

ABOUT THE AUTHORS TV, a new, first-of-its-kind, streaming television program hosted by veteran author Jake Brown, will debut its first 2 seasons across multiple streaming platforms this November 16, 2021. The series, 54 episodes in total to date, features long form interviews with many of the world’s bestselling authors across all genres and generations.

By featuring just one guest per episode, the show offers book lovers the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with their favorite authors as they talk in-depth about their favorite books, series, characters, TV and movie adaptations. The authors also give advice for aspiring writers on everything from how to write a book to how to sell it to a publisher and the public.

On his decision to create ABOUT THE AUTHORS TV, host Jake Brown says “During the Covid lockdown when so many kids were missing out on hearing from their favorite best-selling authors in classrooms, book signings or college lecture halls, ABOUT THE AUTHORS TV was born as an idea.  I began reaching out to fellow authors from across every genre and generation to see if they’d talk to me about their entire catalogs, process and inspiring stories of how they first found their unique voices as writers.  One of the most beautiful and inspiring messages that has been universally communicated by all 54 authors profiled in our first 2 seasons is that there’s no point at which an aspiring author can’t begin chasing that passion on the page, whether at 20 or 60 years old, it's an ageless dream!”

Crime fiction's hottest author Karin Slaughter will kick off the series followed by interviews with The Secret Life of Bees author Sue Monk Kidd, Decoded host/I AM author Brad Meltzer, Presumed Innocent author Scott Turow, HBO Flight Attendant series author Chris Bohjalian, A Brit in the FBI authors legendary Catherine Coulter andJT Ellison, pop icon T.C.
