Bee: Good day Whitney and thanks for participating in our interview.

BL:  In ‘The Desire Factor’ you say that you don’t have to believe in God for it to help you fulfill your desires but you talk about the spiritual and divine. Please tell us how this works for “non-believers”.

CW:  I really don’t speak in terms of God, although that word definitely resonates for some.  I speak in terms of the universal or spiritual energy that sources us; the life force that animates and breathes us.  When we’re in alignment with this spiritual source energy and allowing it to move through us in unobstructed ways, we feel amazing. We are inspired, resourced, energized, and we feel completely on our path.  And this state of alignment, we are naturally led to the exact resources and opportunities to cooperate in the fulfillment of our desires.

I think of this as a Divine dance between our human selves and our Divine counterpart. That is the language that resonates most with me.  But the name you ascribe to this spiritual energy makes no difference whatsoever.  Some call it God or Goddess, Spirit, Source, or Universal Intelligence.  We all know and can feel when we are in alignment with this higher, wiser aspect of us, and we all know and can feel when we’re disconnected from it.  So in this way, it’s not necessary for readers to “believe” in anything in particular.  They just need to develop a sensitivity to the way they feel, and be willing to increasingly raise their vibration to a frequency that will naturally magnetize all that they desire.

The understanding that everything is energy, that all energy carries a vibration, and that like vibrations are always drawn together is based on science, not on religion or spirituality.

BL: How much time and effort went into your research for ‘The Desire Factor’?

CW: Every time I have written a book, I give myself over to the process.  I simply ask that I become a conduit to receive.   So it doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing, impulses and ideas will download through me that I then make note of.  You could say it’s a 24/7 job, and you could also say that it’s effortless. Both are true!

BL: If you could be somebody else for a day who would you choose and why?

CW:  No one, actually!  I was Divinely designed to be me, and to express myself in this particular human form.

BL:What book/s are you reading at present?

CW: Green Lights by Mathew McCaunauhey

BL:  If you could meet 3 people living, dead, or fictional, who would they be?

CW:  Albert Einstein, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Hemsworth

BL: How important do you believe having a good editor is for the success of your book?

CW: Having a good editor is essential for the clarity of a book’s message, and ultimately its success. It’s non-negotiable.  Luckily, I have the best editor ever!

BL: Do you find it difficult to juggle your time between marketing your current book and writing your next book?

CW: I give each of my books my 100% focus.  While I often get ideas for my next book and will write them down and send them to my editor, I don't focus on writing another book until the other has been fully launched.

BL: Do you have another book in the works?

CW: The message of my next book downloaded through me at about the same time as The Desire Factor, and I also knew that The Desire Factor needed to be released first.  I have a general outline for my next book, but haven’t yet started filling in the details.  All my focus right now is on the launch of The Desire Factor.

BL: Thanks once again and good luck with all of your future endeavors
