Bee Lindy
Bee Lindy has been writing book reviews since she was a child. Her notebooks are full of reviews that she wrote before she had her first personal computer.
Before the advent of the Internet, Bee had her first personal computer, and has been saving reviews on computer files ever since.
Her first reviews appeared in her high school and college news papers many moons ago.
More recently she has written reviews as a guest reviewer on various book blogs.
Professionally, she is a fundraiser for various non-profit organizations which entails a great deal of writing. Bee lives with her husband and two dogs.

our desires into being, and to expect that we can is to negate the
powerful realm of energy which is the birthplace of all creation.”
Christy Whitman is a bestselling author and a transformational leader who, in her new book, The Desire Factor: How to Embrace Your Materialistic Nature to Reclaim Your Full Spiritual Power puts forth a theory that is both fascinating and inspirational.
The idea behind this book is that the universe is made up of energy and when you desire something, no matter how big or small that something is, that desire is the universe's way of speaking to you. With the act of embracing rather than oppressing your desires you shift your want for that thing into something more, and Whitman insists this this allows the universe to provide you with that thing.
Every chapter is based on a different principal that make up the tenants of Whitman's theory. The principals consist of things like 'The Principal of Joyful Expectancy' and 'The Principal of Alignment' and every one covers a different facet of making your desires reality. Each chapter also contains a series of bullet points that break down the main points of the chapter and an exercise that Whitman refers to as an 'Energy Mastery Exercise.' I particularly enjoyed these exercises as I found them very meditative.
I do not agree with all of her principles however, Whitman's writing is beautiful and I reading ‘The Desire Factor’. She has such a way with words that I felt myself creatively inspired with every new page.
I think this book would be beneficial to anyone that reads it, whether you feel you have trouble chasing your desires or not. We all want something and whether that thing is necessary for us or just a fun diversion, there is little reason that we shouldn't be able to have it, as long as it does not hurt another living being.
