The first grenade hit the door with a resounding boom and blew a large hole through its top half. The second round went through the hole and exploded with a bright flash, likely killing everyone inside.

The trooper then fired a thermobaric grenade through one window. Josh heard Adrienne gasp as the building blew up.”

Never For Glory is the story of one man and the crossroads he must face in his life. Josh Kavanagh is a fully trained special ops legend who runs an elite team of similarly trained soldiers.

Having formerly been in the service for many years and faced countless life or death situations, Josh thinks that he is prepared for anything that life can throw at him. But he soon finds out that he is mistaken.

When Josh's wife is shot and ends up in a coma, he must decide how to continue on through life without her presence by his side.

In the beginning of  Never For Glory. Josh is still struggling with this decision, and doing so while trying to keep on working. In fact, his idea of working involves parachuting out of a C-130 into southern Venezuela on a mission to locate and capture a well known sex trafficker

named Damien Bran. Apart from being a sex trafficker and all-around criminal, Bran is also the ma ultimately responsible for Josh's wife's coma.

So, he has a few things to answer for, as far as Josh is concerned. And, when Josh and his partner find a barn full of Brand living victims, things get even worse. Josh knows that he must track down

Bran and bring him to justice, one way or another.

I had a great time reading this lighting strike of a novel! This is a thriller for inveterate fans of the genre. Lofthouse is the kind of writer you want to keep track of, for sure!
