Her name is Fawn Malero, and she has a problem. To tell the truth, Fawn often has problems. As the only private detective for the supernaturals of the Seattle area, Fawn usually has a lot on her plate. And now that she is gaining more notoriety in the community, her cases are getting harder and harder to solve.
Take, for instance, her newest case. Someone has unleashed thousands of rabbits across the city.
When the book opens, despite spending days catching and releasing little furry friends in the wilderness outside of town, Fawn is still no closer to figuring out who is responsible for the rabbit apocalypse. But soon, that becomes the least of her problems, as bizarre and troubling weather plagues the city.
Unlike the rabbits, the weather actually hurts people, as a blizzard causes pile ups on the roads and then immediately shifts to 90-degree heat waves.
As the daughter of a family of magicians and with some supernatural powers herself, Fawn usually considers herself well equipped to handle the supernatural problems in the city. But finding out who is behind these additional problems begins to strain even her detective abilities. And, between that and having to prepare for her boyfriend's vampire ex-girlfriend's important and posh wedding, Fawn struggles to keep her head above water.
If you are a lover of paranormal romance and mystery series, you need to check out this book and all the books in the series immediately!
Courtney Davis is a terrific writer, and she makes you feel right at home in her version of Seattle that is filled with everything from vampires to trolls and all the little (and sometimes huge) problems they come with. Her world building is second to none, as is her character development!
'Lucky Rabbit's Foot,' is the fourth book in this series, but any reader could pick it up and enjoy it, as Davis always does such a good job of introducing her characters and their backstories that you never feel lost. Five lucky rabbit's feet to this fun read!

A note to the DX Varos Publishing Family
I would like to dedicate this review in memory of Daniel Willis, owner and operator of DX Varos Publishing.
His sudden passing in July was shocking to all who knew him. I extend my deepest condolences to everyone at DX Varos and his family. It was such a pleasure receiving emails with ebooks for review from him, without pressure. He seemed like a great person.
