Professionally, she is a fundraiser for various non-profit organizations which entails a great deal of writing. Bee lives with her husband and two dogs.

If you're in the mood for a great, compelling detective story, Song Girl' by Keith Hirshland is just the book for you!
With enough mystery to
keep any reader intrigued, the story revolves around Marc Allen, a
police detective who arrives in Colorado Springs just in time to
solve what might be the strangest, and the hardest case of his
career. The case involves a young woman named Hannah who, after
waking up from a freak accident, discovers that she can only
communicate in song titles.
With the help of Hannah's adopted brother, Marc has to figure out what might have caused Hannah's accident, and how it may actually be connected to him. Meanwhile, another branch of the story follows a biker named Reg who murdered a cop many years earlier, and has now returned to Colorado Springs in order to reconnect with his old life. Only now, Reg is living under an assumed name—and living outside the police station in a van.
'Song Girl,' uses POVs from a couple of different characters in order to expertly deliver the story. Combining these points of view leads to a more fleshed out and thrilling story, and Hirshland's writing brings that extra spark that makes for one of the best new books of the year!
The villain of this story, the murderess Teri Hickox, is truly one of the most chilling and crazy characters that I've read in a while. She makes some of the great female villains from cinema look like small potatoes. I couldn't believe some of the things that she did just to get to Marc and ruin his life.
Marc had to use all of his skills to solve this mystery, as well as some others in this book and it is enough to get any mystery-lovers heart racing!

Keith Hirshland is an Emmy Award–winning sports television producer with more than three decades of experience producing live and pre-recorded programs that aired on ESPN and ESPN2. Among the first forty people to be hired by the Golf Channel in 1994, Hirshland was in the middle of the action when that network debuted in 1995. He provided his talents for Golf Channel, as its live tournament producer, for two decades.
