One thing is clear. If Israel launches a preemptive strike against Iran’s nuclear sites, things will never be the same. Not for Israel. Not for the Middle East. Not for the world. The attack will trigger a cascade of events that could bring strong retaliation from Iran and its proxies Hezbollah and Hamas, all of whom may pound Israel with rockets and missiles,” author Mark Hitchcock writes in his prophecy book, Iran & Israel.

This two hundred and twenty-three page paperback book is a current-day account of Biblical prophecies that will take place in the Middle East and the world during the end times. Author of over twenty books on prophecy, Hitchcock does not give exact dates or specific times but opens the readers’ eyes to how close we could be to the future Christian rapture and the Battle of Gog and Magog followed by the Tribulation and return of Christ.

Targeted toward both Christian and Jew, the writer walks us through Israel and Iran’s history, facts and beliefs of the Islamic Mahdi, and quotes from past and present political players and Biblical writers, while explaining a panorama of end-time prophecy and ten key future events that must and will happen eventually.

In addition to mentioning Israel’s Iron Dome, Magic Wand and Arrow 2’s defense systems, it lists Iran’s seven nuclear sites and the county’s relationship to Hezbollah and Hamas in hastening the Muslim’s end of days in the volatile area.

With already two Israeli preemptive strikes against countries with nuclear ambitions in the last thirty-three years, forty percent of Jews worldwide now live in their homeland and two thirds of them want to rebuild the Temple. But the Mahdaviat, a belief in and effort to prepare for the Hidden Imam, and the Mahdi’s imminent arrival could be another satanic counterfeit prompted by Iran to destroy Israel and her people.

Dissecting the Bible’s Ezekiel 38 and 39, current countries’ contributions to the Battle of Gog and Magog are charted along with America’s missing-in-action role, perhaps due to moral decay, military threats and monetary collapse in addition to the rapture of the Church.

Realizing that God is ultimately in control of what happens to Israel, Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, the writer thoroughly explains how Iran is a key player in end times who will join a confederacy to attack Israel, further catapulting the world into the rise and reign of the Antichrist.

For any student of Biblical eschatology or reader of prophecy, this is an excellent quick read that reiterates we do not know all the answers to when and how the end time will approach, but we can know the puzzle pieces are starting to easily fit together on why and where based on the current day events correlating to the Bible prophecy.
