A narrative about three friends who meet at prep school and go into different vocations but, end up together again facing personal risk from the authorities for two of them.

They start out at a small New England Prep School called St. George’s  School.  Robert Lane always wanted to be a money manager and work in the Stock Market;  William Andrews is in love with the legal profession and plans to become a lawyer.  Bob and Billy become fast friends throughout prep school and plan to enter the same college.  James Bellini, whose father runs a Pizza Parlor in Boston is a scholarship student who suffers from Dyslexia is also at St. George’s.  All three of these boys decide to apply to Trinity College in Hartford, CT and all are accepted.  Bob and Billy do OK but Jim is hurt on the ice at a hockey game and has to give up his hockey playing career.  Also, his scholarship is in jeopardy and he has to leave the school.  An alumni of the school gives Jim a chance at a good job in banking by setting him up in a training program at the bank where Jim becomes very successful.

The tales of their school years are both funny and sad but, we now come to their adventures after college and then the fun begins.  Bob now lives in Malibu and works as a money manager.  He is on the fast track to success.  During a social gathering he meets the Davis family who are oil rich Texans.   Billy lives in New York and is a lawyer with a prestigious firm, he is married and has two sons and is at the pinnacle of his chosen profession.   Jim has become quite successful in the banking business and lives in Boston.  They have all become high rollers in the society columns of the three cities.  Now, years later, an FBI investigation, involving the Davis family, has brought all these men back together in a tale of intrigue, cheating and tax evasion.

This book shows the loyalty of these three men for each other and their families.  It is a fun read and I highly recommend it to all readers interested in the financial world and all the things that have come down in the past couple of years.  You will enjoy the story and, perhaps, will identify with some of the characters.
