Ronnie Lee is back with his latest volume of philosophical poetry. Lee studies economics and business, a book that all students of philosophy have been waiting for to add to their collection. It is also a tome for anyone interested in deep thinking and how we ourselves can improve our own lives and the lives of others.
There was much to read in the first chapter on the economy in the metropolis. Lee reminds us that if we use our mind and thoughts they will guide us to success. Again, he shows us that thinking on a deeper level actually achieves more.
Apparently, when the economics are running well everyone involved is happy with their own interests fulfilled.
The economics of business through the help of Ronnie Lee seems so easy to solve. I wonder if Lee could possibly solve the current recession? He seems to understand how and why things happen.
Here is a paragraph found in the section The Reasons for Money that I thought was so well crafted:
“Money assures that you are safe and prosperous,
Through interactions in business,
But not necessarily spiritually or religiously,
As God gives safety and security,
In more moral and personal ways.”
Chapter two, Work in the Metropolis is again a
logical, deep yet clever that speaks volumes to the reader:
“These values then continue,
To refine and define itself,
Through its own division,
And this is seen through work,
Which when completed,
Will multiply back to its profitable logic”.
When you really read these lines you do feel
instilled with knowledge which will carry you through life.
I found another equally clever paragraph in chapter Duties, Work and Tests:
“And all other aspects of life tests us,
1) Money - tests boldness
2) Work - tests love
3) Family - tests hope
4) Friends - tests intellect
5) Spouse - tests loyalty
6) Children -
tests trust.”
Throughout life it seems there are so many obstacles
that test you again and again. Lee’s understanding of this is
massive and it is easy to see this when you read his work.
The Parasitic Earth was such a good section. Lee converses with us about “political parasites” that try to exploit the weakness of others to gain advantage and power. We see this for ourselves in today’s society. He goes onto say how these parasites prey on the weak, feeding off their insecurities and destroying their faith, beliefs, hopes, ambitions and dreams.
All this to gain themselves power.
I wonder, do we all have a parasitic nature in us?
“Our sense is our wisdom,
And our skill is our conscience,
But what really matters too,
Is love which is our survival, hope and peace,
And all this will unite us,
With all our weaknesses and strengths.”
So writes Lee. It seems love may be the key to
curing all negative things. And how right this seems!
Homeless in chapter seven is one part I read and couldn’t put down. Lee says that if you are homeless you should value and use the resources of others through charity. However you should also always try to use your own values and skills to help you survive independency.
If most people thought this way would life be any better, I wonder?
In chapter thirteen Lee again philosophizes with a great deal of depth. When looking at gravity he says we
must use philosophical logic for existence.
All in all a wonderful thought-provoking philosophical book full of everything anyone could ever possibly want. If you are a student of philosophy then this is something I’d highly recommend.
The front cover is as striking and as mesmerizing as the chapters within.
Another astonishing book by renowned author Ronnie Ka Ching Lee. A mastermind.
