A Conversation with Walter Stover, M.A. Author of Dreams My Lamp Unto the Darkness

Author: Walt Stover, M.A. ISBN: 9781567768569 Today, Norm Goldman, Publisher & Editor of Bookpleasures.com is pleased to have as our guest, Walt Stover, M.A. author of Dreams My Lamp unto the Darkness.
Good day Walt and thanks for participating in our interview.
Norm:
Why did you feel compelled to write Dreams My Lamp unto the Darkness? Why do you think this is an important book at this time? How has the feedback been so far?
Walt
I wrote this book to share with others the totality of my 30 years of exciting dream experiences. I also wanted to document the incredible help and guidance that is available within our own dreams. The feedback I have been receiving is very positive.
Norm:
Can you tell us how you found representation for your book? Did you pitch it to an agent, or query publishers who would most likely publish this type of book? Any rejections? Did you self-publish?
Walt:
My book was rejected twice by conventional publishers. Then I decided to use the Print on Demand technology to get my message out to the public.
Norm:
How would you respond to potential readers who might be skeptical about the subject matter of the book?
Walt:
I would assure these people that all of the dreams from myself and others are true reports. They provided useful and in some cases extremely important guidance to each individual dreamer. I have also used my precognitive dreams about investing to achieve excellent gains in the stock market starting in 1994.
Norm:
What kind of research did you do to write this book?
Over a period of many years, I studied books on precognition, dreams of famous people that came true, and dream interpretation. In 2001, I received a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Studies from Atlantic University and wrote a thesis on dreams.
Norm:
Will there be any unique ways you'll be marketing your book that is different from how others authors market their books?
Walt:
I will make major use of Internet web sites for marketing this book including my own WEB PAGE. I will set up a blog site and use myspace and other internet sites as well.
Norm:
Have people approached you at parties or elsewhere asking you to interpret their dreams and what is your reaction?
Walt:
Yes – people do approach me for my opinions regarding their dreams. I welcome these opportunities as a means of getting to know new people and establish new friendships.
Norm:
What has been the reaction of your family and friends concerning your belief in dreams?
Walt:
My friends and family have been very supportive of my involvement in dream activities.
Norm:
In your book you mention the Precognitive Stock Market Dream Group. What is this all about?
Walt:
This is a small club of people scattered around the world who have precognitive dreams about various aspects of investing. We exchange our investment dreams with each other via e-mail so that the other members can take prompt action on the information if they deem necessary. I have been using dreams to guide my investment since 1994 with excellent results.
Norm:
What future writing plans do you have?
Walt:
My writing plans for the future are continuing to evolve. A second edition of this book is one possibility.
Norm:
Is there anything else you wish to mention that we have not covered?
Walt:
I would like to encourage all those who read my book to take the time to explore their own dreams and discover the exciting possibilities waiting for them there.
Thanks once again and good luck with all of your future endeavors.

BIRTHING BOOKS AND DREAMS:A Conversation With Nancy Cleary, Founder of Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing
First released in 1993, Anne Lamott's classic memoir, Operating Instructions: A Journal of My Son's First Year, was a surprise hit. Literary critics still credit Lamott for launching the ever-popular "momoir" genre -- honest, heartfelt writing from the ordinary trenches of motherhood. Anticipating this trend ten years ago, Nancy Cleary founded Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing (named for her two children) to help other women writers publish their own books on parenting topics. Today,...
