Two sacred prophesies that must be guarded but only someone that is blessed and has been anointed by God can touch them. Each one will be placed into a box separately and one hidden by one of two Rabbis as one has made it his mission to get to Jerusalem with the second one. As we hear the words of Gaen and understand what he is hoping to do, we meet three angels that came to him in his dream and explain that they have been sent to help complete his mission. The primary focus of this novel centers around these religious predictions made by a Lithuanian Jewish calendar as the year is 1734 and these prophesies are carefully sealed in a metal box that can only be opened by someone who has the Blessing of Aaron. There are three ancient empires of the Eastern-Persian, Ottoman and Islamic that appeared to be rising. This possible clash of empires might impact history today and events in the Jewish state. Vilna Gaon is our central character, a kabalistic Talmudic scholar who wants to protect these two prophesies presented to him by God and not to be revealed to anyone until the time is right. The first prophesy deals with the Russian annexation of the Crimean and the second will be revealed in the sequel.

The plot is intricate and the storyline switches into many places as we get to know the players behind the corruption in our own defense department. The Secretary of Defense realizes that something is amiss but for some reason falls prey to his Deputy who wants not only our Ambassador removed but dealt with in a lethal way. Instead he is sent to be the Ambassador to Israel along with Brian Mullaney, the DSS Regional Security Officer. Their job is to keep the prophecy safe and deliver it to the Rabbinate Council in Hurva. But things take on deadly turns and the evil forces will stop at nothing to present these men from fulfilling the God’s purposes.  There are many against them and the hands of evil are deadly as we meet the players that along with Webster are the ones who want to take the action in the one direction that would go against any American leader. Everyone has their own wants, agendas and final outcomes in mind but who will win the long run? Who exactly is the Turk, what is his power and why does he appear to be demonic? Ruled by the creed of Satan, the Turk’s goal is primarily to explore the greed of man by alluring and enticing our leaders to be swayed to do his bidding. As we witness what those against our policies accomplish and we get to know Mullaney and Cleveland we can only hope that they succeed in their mission. 

Israel and Palestine, will they come to a compromise and will they defend each other. Rabbi Elijah ben Solomon Zalman was  revered Talmudic scholar of this time in the late 18th century. However, in the year 2014 his great-great grandson revealed the prophesy that he wrote in the past: When you heat that the Russians have capture the city of Crimea you should know that the times of the Messiah have stared, that his steps are heard. In the spring of that year, Russian troops invaded the Ukraine and swept through the Crimean Peninsula. What would happen if there was a treaty between Israel and all the Arab neighbors, and the prime focus was the Vilna Gaon prophecy speculated that the Gaon wrote a second one that has not been revealed. What would happen if the other side wins and the other side is able to rebuild and resurrect themselves, the Persians, Islamic and Ottoman Empires.

The President of Turkey was encumbered by his nation’s delicate balancing act on the international scene plus the upcoming election, it was Prime Minister Eroglu who was assigned by the President the vital task of making sure the rebirth of Persia did not happen. A reborn alliance if Iran and Iraq and anew Persia would be a direct threat to the Presidents dream of a new Ottoman Empire. However, on our side and corruption reigns, Noah Webster found himself in collusion with an agent of a foreign power but also financially and supported in the collusion by a shadow cabinet of bankers and power brokers. What will happen if this was uncovered? His job and power managed to get Cleveland and Mullaney to Israel. Nora Carson is dangerous and it’s her words that set things in motion. As Deputy Secretary of State Webster has power and just how he wielded it over the Secretary of State is bone chilling.

Hear the meeting between Cleveland and the Rabbi who enlisted him to bring the metal case with the second prophecy to where it would be safe and when opened they would know just what to do with it and why. What would happen if there was a mutual defense pact between Israel and her Arab neighbors: Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia and most of the small, Persian Gulf states: the result the Ishmael Covenant at the heart of this novel. The Turk is far from done as you will learn. There were forces led by the Turk and the final ending will shock you and make your realize that the Turk wanted what the Gaon’s second prophecy said, the  lethal box that killed several who were not anointed as the last guardian and the Ambassador’s daughter, Palmyra is kidnapped., How will they prevent the fulfillment of one Messianic Biblical Prophecy? What happens when they three rabbis learn what is inside the box and the message that has been hidden? They want to change the future and change the outcome of the coming judgement as the final scenes let you know it’s far from over.
