Robbie Bach, author of The Blockchain Syndicate, has held several highly esteemed positions in the tech industry. His twenty-two (22) years at Microsoft, where he was a powerhouse, are particularly relevant to this book.

His experience in developing and launching services, overseeing product line expansions, and his role in the launch of the Xbox 360, all contribute to the authenticity and depth of the technological and civic themes in the novel.
Today, Bach's influence extends beyond the tech world as a 'Civic Engineer,' collaborating with civic, philanthropic, and corporate organizations to drive lasting change in communities. His commitment to social change is both inspiring and a key aspect of his authorial voice.
In 2015, Bach penned his first book, called Xbox Revisited: A Game Plan for Corporate and Civic Renewal. The very popular The Wilkes Insurrection was published in 2021 and highlights the central character, Tamika Smith.
This new novel also follows the life and events of Tamika Smith. It is titled The Blockchain Syndicate. Ms. Smith has cast off her military uniform for the dress clothes of a US Senator, where she hopes to help usher in change for the good of all.
Her plans are stifled and nearly derailed entirely when a Russian assassin almost takes out the high school-aged daughter of Tamika's love interest and then sets her sights on whatever or whoever else Tamika loves and hopes to protect.
This story is a combination of rapid-fire action, comingled with old cold-war grudges and a newfangled way to bring the US and the world to their knees. And it nearly worked! It begins on American soil in California.
Then brings the FBI into the picture and quickly moves offshore to the Netherlands with everyone guessing where it may go next.
The criminal syndicate is so clever that it sets thoughtful traps to ensnare Tamika and her lover/fiancée's family, right when they might have a lead, the story takes a twist.
Elements that keep the reader
totally engaged in this novel range from assassination attempts to
trending familial bonds and broken trust to kidnapping and much more.
I loved it and believe you will too!
