Terry Richard Bazes is the author of Lizard World (Livingston Press) and of Goldsmith’s Return (White Pine Press). His personal essays and fiction have appeared in a number of publications, including The Washington Post Book World, Newsday, Columbia Magazine, Travelers’ Tales: Spain, Lost Magazine and the Evergreen Review. natures are integral to my writing because writing for me is a
