Bookpleasures.com welcomes as our guest Stan Reynolds author of How to Do the Impossible and a Whole Lot More.

Norm: Good day Stan and thanks for participating in our interview.

Please tell our readers a little bit about your personal and professional background.

Stan: Hard to believe, but I am a very young 62 year old grandpa of 8. Early in my career I was blessed to be employed with Dale Carnegie Training®. After leaving to start my own business, I continued as a coach for more than a decade. Over the last 40 years I have owned and operated several businesses. My company, Lawyers Trust, a law firm marketing and development firm served the legal profession for over 20 years. Since 2003, I have owned Affordable Mini-storage. Of all my business ventures, there is nothing I enjoy more than being a professional speaker.

Norm: Do you recall how your interest in mnemonics originated and how did you come up with your creative self-help approach using the Logic Die™ and mnemonics?

Stan: Long before I was familiar with the term mnemonics I was utilizing them in my teachings. Of course, a mnemonic device is any device that can be used as a tool to trigger our memory. I credit the inspiration for the Logic Die™ as an answer to prayer. I was deeply disappointed in the “Name it – Claim it” movement that that was conveyed by many religious leaders. Although it included true principles it was an incomplete teaching that did more harm than good. I had a deep desire to give people a complete system for solving their problems. I was determined to deliver practical solutions that really worked if we worked.

Norm: When writing your book, How to Do the Impossible and a Whole Lot More, what served as the primary inspiration, what were your goals and intentions in this book, and how well do you feel you achieved them?

Stan: I was inspired to help struggling families. I wanted to provide an easy to use system to help people solve their own problems. We cannot depend on our friends and family or the government to resolve our problems. We must take charge of our own lives. We must learn how to face and overcome our challenges.

Most people are smarter than we give them credit for being. The truth is that all of us can take control of our situations. Unfortunately, it requires mental and physical labor. The good news is that the book clearly provides an easy to follow system for organizing our thoughts and designing a workable plan of action. We can become self-sufficient as we diligently work towards that goal.

Norm: Why do you think this is an important book at this time and how has the feedback been so far?

Stan: Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. I have been blessed hearing the numerous stories of individuals applying the principles of the Logic Die™ system and seeing positive results. This book is very important because it provides the tools that people need to address their problems and find workable solutions.

Norm: Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?

Stan: It would require another book to share all of the things I learned while writing this book. Nevertheless, if I may pass on one word of wisdom to your readers it would be this: WRITE. Write out your thoughts daily; keep a working ledger to plan your steps. Read what you have written, ask yourself good questions and then seek out wise counsel and write some more. Become your on Teacher.

Everything man-made has this in common: the idea started in someone’s imagination and then passed through a sheet of paper before it is manifested in the real world. Therefore, if we want to make something come to pass – WRITE IT DOWN.

Norm: What did you enjoy most about writing this book and was the most difficult part of writing your book?

Stan: I enjoyed the learning process. By far the most difficult part was becoming personally satisfied with my work. No matter how well something is written, I always believe there is room for improvement so I would find myself rewriting continuously. In reality, there is more than one right way to say something.

Norm: Any unique ways you'll be marketing your book that is different from how others authors market their books?

Stan: I will be listening to the experts and following their recommendations.

Norm: Do you feel that writers of self-help books owe something to readers, if not, why not, if so, why and what would that be?

Stan: Reader’s deserve accurate information that is delivered to the best of our ability. Thereafter, it becomes their responsibility to apply the information.

Norm: Are you working on any books/projects that you would like to share with us? (We would love to hear all about them!)

Stan: There are an ever increasing group of students in Uganda, Africa that are utilizing the lessons of the Logic Die™. They are eager to learn and are calling for me to come. Although the book effectively explains the system, the teaching really comes to life when I present the concepts in a workshop. By utilizing lots of interaction the attendees are both entertained and educated. I am passionate about helping others; workshops make that happen. I am always eager for opportunities to serve both abroad and here at home.

Norm: Where can our readers find out more about you and How to Do the Impossible And a Whole Lot More?

Stan: Of course, buy the book on Amazon.com and go to my website (www.GoldDie.com) to learn more.

Norm: As this interview draws to a close what one question would you have liked me to ask you? Please share your answer.

Stan: Question: Does the system really work? --- Absolutely, but only for the person that works the system.

Norm: Thanks once again and good luck with all of your future endeavors.
