Having over twenty-five years’ experience instructing over one hundred thousand students in learning computer techniques, McKeever leaves few stones unturned as she covers computer know-how for novices to professionals.

After a short author biography and introduction, one hundred tips are divided into nine sections, ending with appendices and quick reference guides. Although some of the pasted screen captures and quick reference guides have hard to read fonts and are somewhat fuzzy, the tip instructions are easy to comprehend. All tips start on the right side of the page, sometimes flowing onto the following left side or leaving the page completely blank, perhaps for note taking.

The nine tip sections include twenty-eight regarding general computing, eleven browser related, four about Facebook, fourteen involving Microsoft Office, two for emailing, five in regard to Microsoft Outlook, nineteen that cover Microsoft Excel, twelve about Word, and five fun projects and programs. The appendices have charts of keyboard shortcuts, Alt codes, and Apple characters with their shortcuts.
