A couple of months ago I purchased on E-Bay a case cover and flip stand for my new iPad 3 from a Chinese vendor. What attracted me was the price, however, I should have followed my gut feeling which said: you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, the case did not last too long and consequently I was in the market for a new one. I decided to go with the Snugg iPad 3 Case Cover and Flip Stand which carries with it a lifetime guaranty.
What immediately caught my eye when I compared the Snugg with the knock-off was the former's far superior workmanship insofar as the stitching was concerned as well as its snug fit which reflects its brand name. No doubt, this case is made to last and most likely would not fall apart at the seams as the knock-off had done within a few months of my purchase.
I also noticed that the adjustable cover easily folded into two sturdy stand positions that were firmly held in place and thus would not flop all over the place as often happens with many other cases. Other features that stood out and were absent in the knock-off were the various holes that were neatly aligned to the power access, charging and headphone ports, the clever magnet that puts the iPad to sleep when the case is closed and wakes it up when opened, and the neat elastic hand strap and stylus loop that can easily be tucked behind if you don't need it.
All of these features are mentioned in the company's advertising of the product, however, very often what a company says about its product sometimes proves to be false. This is not the case with Snugg, and what's more this is a company that delivers what they promise.
Although the Snugg case is heavier than the knock-off, however, when you stop to think about it, at least it reassures you that it is sturdier than knock-offs and would probably protect the ipad if you ever dropped it. Trust me when I say this case is excellent value for its price.
