One “Big Idea” example is the concept of God’s immanence and how He is actively present with us. Although He is transcendent, He is in heaven and on earth at the same time as explained in Deuteronomy 4:39, Psalms 139:8, and Acts 17:27. “Fast Facts” mention that Enoch walked with God, Abraham was God’s friend, Moses saw God in the burning bush, and all believers will be with Him in the New Jerusalem. We should be comforted knowing God is always near, wherever we go, especially when we are lonely, needy, or sick. The anonymous quote states, “The Christian finds safety not in the absence of danger but in the presence of God.”

In addition to learning some names of the Almighty are El Olam, El Roi, El Shaddai, Elohim, Yahweh, and Yahweh-Nissi, we should never forget His incomprehensible love, grace, and mercy.
