Many people feel that the convergence of so many noteworthy events at this single time in history cannot be accidental:
The dawning of the Age of Aquarius
Earth’s entry into the Photon belt for the first time in 24,000 years
The ancient Mayan prophecy of a new age beginning at the end of 2012
Christian’s belief that the second coming of the Messiah looms just ahead
Jew’s belief that the first appearance of the Messiah is around the corner
Muslim’s belief that an end to the present age is at hand
The theory that man will be on the Earth for 6,000 years and we are in 5,990-something on the timeline
On a recent National Public Radio broadcast, even many non-spiritual people admitted that they sense an unprecedented worldwide change in the wind
The theory of a planetary polarity shift at the end of 2012
In his November 24, 1952 letter to Charles Hapgood, Albert Einstein wrote that the idea of a planetary polarity shift and earth crust displacement should not be ruled out "apriori" just because the idea didn’t fit with what we know or want to believe about the earth’s past. What was needed, Einstein claimed, were solid "geological and paleontological facts."
Those facts are still hard
to nail down. According to author Jerry Pollock in Putting God into
Einstein’s Equations, faith must come into play in all aspects of
spirituality, and where Einstein and his equations are concerned at
this uncanny juncture of extraordinary events, Einstein’s belief in
a God whose organizing intelligence is beyond human comprehension
cannot be overlooked. Pollock bases his provocative, compelling book
on Einstein’s equations, and he uses them as a platform to explore
and reflect the energy of our God-given Divine souls.
Jerry Pollock’s credentials should make even skeptics listen to what he has to say. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto. He obtained his PhD in Biophysics at Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel in 1969, and then he went on to New York University Medical Center for four years as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Professor of Microbiology. Until July 2006, he was Professor of Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University. One should closely study the observations of a scholar like Pollock and seriously consider his point of view, whether you ultimately agree with him or not.
Pollock also claims to
have conversations with the Devil, professes to regular
communications with the soul of his deceased wife, and reveals that
he twice attempted suicide and once was incarcerated and placed on
anti-psychotic medication. The Jerry Pollock who authored Putting God
into Einstein’s Equations is both the learned professor noted by
the aforementioned credentials and was once the troubled man also
described above. This dichotomy sets his writings on an extraordinary
plane. What makes his latest book so compelling is that the reader
can discern that he genuinely believes what he says and has the
courage of his convictions. His writing reflects penetrating,
sensible thoughts, and his words are not the random ramblings of a
maniacal madman. Truth, love, and wisdom lie within these pages, and
the moving reflections on the authors’ life experiences will either
leave you entertained or enlightened, depending on your frame of mind
at Page 1. Either way, you will be enthralled by Page 167 because you
will have confronted dozens of thought-provoking theories, and
weighing the pros and cons of each conjecture may keep you up half
the night. This book is a page turner, and most people will desire to
read the book in one mind-expanding sitting.
So just how does Jerry put God into Einstein’s equations? Many people who believe in God believe that God is a unique light, and Jerry writes, “If God is composed of energy particles, then it would be natural to assume that His energy particles would behave according to Einstein’s famous equation E = mc2.” He also explains, “In Einstein’s equation, the 186 thousand miles per second velocity of light, c, is approached by an object when its energy and relativistic mass are essentially infinite. Because God is limitless and beyond infinity and because we are a part of God, His energy and the energy of our souls, one and the same energy, is transmitted telepathically, as we shall discover in later chapters, at speeds of 186 billion miles per second. Incredible as it sounds, energy follows thought and thoughts as energy are transmitted one million times faster than the speed of light.”
Albert Einstein would probably have been open to considering the possibilities of Pollock's theory. In the Bible, God tells Moses that no one can see His face lest he die, and many later theologians have expounded on the probability that His brilliance would be far too much for us to bear. In Jerry and Marcia Pollock’s book, they explore many more intriguing components that add even greater fuel to this explanation. In reading this book, you set sail on a spellbinding trek to a greater understanding of who we are, why we are here, and where we are heading. At times, the book reaches sublime proportions. Prepare yourself for an unprecedented excursion skyward.
