Snowflakes
is a book filled with designs for creative paper cutouts. There are
eighty pages of cutouts each with a folded paper triangle below to lead
you through the design. This
is a how- to book that would not only be appealing to an older child
but to creative adults as well. There are step-by-step directions in
the beginning of the book with appropriate diagrams. As an example,
some of the cutout designs are a Poinsettia, Spaceship, Praying Mantis,
Seashells, etc. It
is well known that no two snowflakes look alike. This is true even
with cut snowflakes even if everyone in the family cuts the same design,
each one will be different. Families can decorate their snowflakes
with sparkles or color them with crayons or markers. Can you imagine a
room filled with hanging snowflakes! The
author, Cindy Higham is from Utah, where she had been making cutout
snowflakes for years. Cindy decided to put all of her unusual patterns
into a book so that we could experiment. Cindy’s
patterns can be used for everyday activities such as scrapbooking,
decorations and holiday cards. Some of the more sophisticated uses are
for quilt blocks, stencils, crochet patterns, wood ornaments or patterns
for stained glass. Once you learn how to use the techniques, start experimenting! Click Here To Purchase Snowflakes: Creative Paper Cutouts
