USA Today best-selling author Susan Kearney is a native of New Jersey, writes full time and has sold books to the industries' top publishing houses. As an award-winning author, Kearney earned a Business Degree from the University of Michigan. Her knowledge and experience spans throughout the romance genre, and her fifty plus books include contemporary, romantic suspense, historical, futuristic, science fiction and paranormal novels-- with Lucan and Rion as part of this series. She resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband and children.

After the death of her parents when she was just a child, Vivianne Blackstone focused on surviving and eventually became CEO of the Vesta Corporation. She’s put her love life on hold, and her latest project is a spaceship designed to protect Earth from the deadly Tribes. But its engineer, Jordan McArthur, not only threatens her job, but her heart too. Jordan’s past is tied to King Arthur, and he’s on a mission of his own. He needs to find an ancient artifact in order to save the galaxy. Vivianne’s ship is the only way to do that. When the ship is launched with a small, unsuspecting crew, Vivianne and Jordan are on a quest across the stars to the very end in order save all they hold dear. As the past and future collide, the passion between them is knocking down their defenses, and may just be the key to saving the world.

This is book three in the Pendragon Legacy series, the final installment, with Lucan and Rion coming before it. These books stand alone, with it not being necessary to have read the other books, but I would recommend it, as you’ll get more out of the experience if you do.

If you’ve read the other books in this series, you won’t be let down by this conclusion. It tied the other books together, continued the mission to save the galaxy, and was just as hot as the first two. Though I enjoyed the others, each book built in intensity, making this one pop. In this genre, an author really has to make the reader believe the plot is possible. Susan not only does that, she makes you wonder ‘what if’. The secondary characters added nicely to the plot, the setting was laid out in great detail, and the main characters were relatable. Here is an author who knows her conflict too, making this very hard to put down.

If futuristic romance is the future of romance, I’m on board…especially if Susan Kearney is writing them!
