Guess Who I Am…a foldout animal surprise book

ISBN: 157791175-X

Photographs by Phoebe Dunn

Publisher: Brighter Minds Children’s Publishing

Children, even toddlers, love riddles and puzzles. Each page spread of Guess Who I Am is both a puzzle and a riddle. On the left page, you get just a peek at a mostly-hidden animal. On the right is a clue about the hidden animal, in riddle form. Flip up a flap and expose a larger peek and another clue. Flipping the last flap exposes an adorable baby animal, which is sure to delight small children. The end is the best surprise of all. A few riddles and flaps reveal a mirror so your youngest readers can see themselves.

Preschoolers will have fun guessing; toddlers will have fun flipping flips. In fact, toddlers may insist on exposing each animal several times before turning the page.

From an educational perspective, each page inspires a number of learning experiences, such as teaching your child animal sounds and colors. This book will stimulate your child’s curiosity, promote hand-to-eye skills, and encourage your child to think ahead.

The photography is by Phoebe Dunn—one of the world’s best animal photographers with over twenty children’s books. Her photos are bright, vivid, colorful, and full of personality. You can’t go wrong with a Phoebe Dunn book.

This board book is sure to become a favorite with young children.
