You can make anything into what you want if you really try and when I first got hold of Nod’s Way that was my first thought.

As I read the Four Square Fore Words chapter I wondered what I was letting myself in for. It read as mumbo jumbo and I thought “what utter rubbish”. Then I read the introduction that was called Getting The Nod. It tells of a meeting on a dark, damp night in an establishment rather like our public houses and coming into contact there with a strange group of alien type characters.

These ancient people of the earth are called the Dvarth and have their own calendar. Enticed into a booth where someone called Jack Plenty produces a small volume full of patterns and drawings and the text is a calligraphic script with pairs of symbols like stars and moons. This peculiar man said the future began there. The book was titled Nod’s Way or Hidden Dragon: An Oracle of the Everyday in Thirty Six Auspices, it was an ancient oracle book. Three black dice with symbols on each side were produced and he was told to throw them and look for the meanings of the symbols in the book.

Nod’s Way is not to tell the future but help clarify thought. There is a detailed explanation in the book of how to use the oracle. Not just as simple as throwing three dice and looking up the symbols, you have to do it in the correct way and ask questions.

This book plus dice is available now for anyone to purchase.

You can have great fun with these dice but as I said at the beginning you can make anything into what you want or hope for. I actually enjoy looking into this sort of ancient ritual and was fascinated with this set, as I’m sure others will be.  Treat it with respect but keep your feet on the ground. The book says it is the first new ancient oracle of the twenty-first century. Roll the dice and explore life, consciousness and the many ways of being with this “I Ching” of an ancient imaginary race.

The book that has all the details and explanations of how to divine your future is packaged with the three dice and the small velvet purse in a neat compact box. It would make a lovely present for anyone interested in the ancient art of fortune telling.

Fascinating and mysterious. What a genius idea…. can you resist?
