Jeff Belanger has always had a fascination with the unexplained. He was first introduced to the subject of ghosts in the old New England town where he grew up.

Jeff has been a writer and journalist for various newspapers and magazines. He launched Ghostvillage.com in 1999, a site that has grown to become the largest paranormal community on the web.

He has interviewed many hundreds of people about their experiences with the profound.

Dreams and especially nightmares have captivated Jeff for a long time

Have you ever wished to know what secrets your darkest nightmares harbour?

If you suffer from nightmares that leave you in a cold sweat then this encyclopaedia will explain all.

There are interpretations that describe in a straight- forward approach what exactly your nightmare symbols mean. From Aging through to Zombie - this book takes each subject and gives an in-depth evaluation.

As I flicked through I found a topic that I often dream about myself. The analysis this encyclopaedia gave matched actually how I feel in my life about the webs that are “entrapping” me.

Yet I felt in some areas of this tome there could possibly have been more dream topics. Often I discovered there was nothing in this book to explain the other things I dreamt about.

I recently had a dream on a certain topic and this book simply did not have that subject, no matter how hard I looked but perhaps it just isn’t possible to cover everything we mortals dream about.

It does however cover the more simple subjects such as “Lost” and “Flying”.  Things that are most common to dreamers.

Also included are some tales from the actual people who have experienced horrific dreams. They explain what happened in their nightmares and then at the end you will find an analysis which works out why they dreamt of that stuff.

Some dream of UFOs others of haunted houses and the paranormal. If you take a moment to study these dreams, you may find they do indeed have a similar theme to your own.

Pictures accompany some subjects, such as the grim reaper and also a scary looking mask.

It’s hard to write a review on this without giving too much away. The best thing is to read this encyclopaedia for yourself.

It comes complete with a table of contents plus an introduction and helpful index. Read this and you’ll be up all night!

Author: Rebecca LeonardISBN: 1-934383-14-7A good ghost story never stays on a bookshelf for long, and younger readers will find plenty of standard fright fare in the pages of this quick-reading short story: vaguely worded warnings from evasive townsfolk, a moody old man with a motive, flashlights that stop functioning at inopportune moments, and the requisite graveyard that fills with vengeful specters at the stroke of midnight. The plot is a variation of one we’ve seen in many a movie-rental...
