Author: Philip Gardiner

Publisher: New Page Books

ISBN-10: 1564149242

ISBN-13: 978-1564149244

Philip Gardiner says he didn’t set out to write a book about the Ark of the Covenant or the Shroud of Turin or Mary but having studied history, religion, philosophy and science he began to read more about them and discovered many inaccuracies in their historical past.

He began to delve into the Ark and after doing some research regarding it as having an electrical influence, it had been discovered that it did indeed collect electrical charges which it stored over time. It would however never be able to store enough to kill people or remove them, that was impossible. Interesting though, as were some other theories about the Ark .

The actual Ark, if it ever existed, would now be 3000 years old. There are Arks in many countries all supposed to possess fantastic energy.

Jeremiah was also said to have been entrusted with the Ark. It was said he hid it safely until the advent of the Messiah which is often referred to as if it was Jesus.

If you read on you will discover that apparently we can all rediscover the Ark of the Covenant - it is within us all.

There is so much in this book about the Ark and it’s quite interesting but you have to have some sort of interest in this subject to read it.

The tablets of stone that Moses brought down from Mount Sinai are said to be stored in the Ark. There is also a theory that meteorites could have been the cause of the supposed electrical impulses stored there.

The author draws attention to the fact that the Ark, Mary and the Shroud are all interlinked but points out the message from the Ark is simply - God is inside us.

The connection to the Masonic movement also comes up with regard to their symbols and rituals. In the section Wisdom of the Ark the number seven is shown as important whether from the number of planets or the Chakra points on our bodies. I wonder if this is why seven is often regarded as a lucky number by many people.

Algebra also plays its part in the locations of the Ark and its measurements .

Another Ark refereed to in the Bible is Noah’s Ark and also the Ark in the bull-rushes that held baby Moses.

The author says he had a wonderful moment of excitement when he realized that the Ark of the Covenant had to be sprinkled with blood to work properly and the same for the Shroud. Wow!

There is quite a lot in the book regarding secret societies especially the Freemasons.

Is the story of the Ark just a fable, the author asks and wonders if there is any point in looking for any physical remains.

I must just mention another amazing fact from this fascinating book. The theory that the burning bush mentioned in the Bible had hallucinogenic properties and that was the reason it burst into flames and yet Moses didn’t get burnt.

The Shroud remains an enigma, Philip Gardiner tells us. His own quest has exhilarated, enthused and scared him but he is happy with the result. You must read this book and I’m sure you will go through many emotions yourselves depending on your own background or beliefs. It will certainly make you think and wonder. I can’t possibly tell you his conclusions in this review that wouldn’t be fair. You must read this astonishing work for yourself.

The author of this amazing book is a very clever, persistent man. He leaves no stone unturned in his attempt to uncover the truth. His journey takes him through many countries and is certainly thought-provoking. An absorbing and important read.
