Friedman, with a little help from the Batman, will motivate you to re-evaluate your life choices. Are you living your ideals and applying your personal principles to your life? If not, Cary Friedman sheds a little light, so you can explore and discover your personal morality. Simply apply the Batman mythology to your own life and see what you find. Personally, I found chapter 8 on self-esteem a revelation.

Friedman’s book is spiritual, inspirational, and boldly motivational. He translates all the Batman ideals into the truths we all recognize, but often fail to achieve. Then, he reminds us that the only reason we’re failing is because we’re not reaching high enough, and the sky is the limit! We all have the potential for greatness—to live a life of integrity. Courage, loyalty, and honor aren’t just for comic book heroes. They’re qualities that we too can espouse. All we have to do is claim them, remember that we claimed them, and then act on them, every day.

You don’t have to be a fan of the Batman to appreciate this book’s message. Friedman does a great job of dispensing Batman’s story, without overwhelming the reader in Batman trivia. Only those experiences that support his points make it to the book.
