Leni, the Pug joins her regular canine crew: Elliott, the Boston Terrier, Guinness, the black Lab, Cassius, the Boxer, Hunter, the retriever, Jefferson, the Poodle and Spike, the Chihuahua, on Christmas Eve in Central Park for a romp before Christmas.
“The dogs sniffed a few sniffs hello
Suddenly--
An unfamiliar noise
Stopped the pooches frisky play
Jingling bells tinkled above,
And then they saw a sleigh.
Santa’s sleigh had landed
But he said,
‘Count my reindeer,
To understand my pickle
My sleigh has one requirement,
You’ll see just how it’s fickle.’ “
Comet was missing and Leni, the Pug, along with her canine crew were off to save the day for Santa Claus and children around the world.
The canines enlist the assistance of three Central Park pigeons appropriately named Wheat, Pumpernickel and Rye.
Read the book to find out if Leni the Pug and her friends can find Comet, save the day and join the reindeer team in spreading joy, goodwill and lots of presents throughout the land!
