Do you believe in angels?  Floriana Hall does, and for good reason.  As a young child, a near death experience confirmed for her the belief that they exist and proved to her that her faith was real.

Many times since that experience, Floriana has witnessed the existence of angels through strange “coincidences,” answered prayers, and inspiration.  This anchor of faith in Floriana’s life has given her the positive attitude that infuses her writing and gives her a pleasant approach and rich life experience.

OUT OF THE ORDINARY is a collection of short stories written by Floriana Hall, in the spirit of…well, spirit.  She shares slices of her life through her short stories, essays, and poems and even sends a clear message of tolerance through a children’s story.

OUT OF THE ORDINARY tackles such tough subjects as:

*Life growing up during the Great Depression

*Fortunate “coincidences,” mysteries, near-death experience, death, and hauntings.

*September 11, 2001

*Raising children to be respectful and responsible adults

OUT OF THE ORDINARY also offers slices of Floriana’s interesting life, her travels, her triumphs, and her children.

Although Floriana wasn’t inspired to become a writer until the age of 68, it’s as if she was always supposed to be a writer, with the incredible detail she’s able to recall when writing about events that took place nearly seventy years ago!

OUT OF THE ORDINARY is simply written and easy to follow.  A little more than a short way into the book the reader feels as if he or she knows Floriana, her five children, and her grandchildren. Indeed, the book even includes an essay about friendship written by her granddaughter.

Floriana’s unshakable belief in God is forefront in the book and she makes no apologies for her strong conservative, faith-based opinions about many subjects.

OUT OF THE ORDINARY is anything but ordinary, with a positive message made for rubbing off on readers.
