Author: Philip Gardiner

ISBN:  978-1-56414-925-1

You would find Gateways to the Otherworld in the Ancient Mysteries/New Science category and the title surely captures your attention.  For those of us who believe that there is something more than our physical being in the present, this book brings us insight.

This non-fiction book is about a sense of traveling through other realms, not as in science fiction or fantasy, but as it was depicted in our past through shamans and other historical figures in history.  If you have ever picked up a dream book to decipher your latest dream, you would find this book fascinating.  There are different beliefs to explain the dream world and where our subconscious takes us.  The author unravels some of the mysteries of this type of journey and others like it.

With chapters such as Serpent Realm, Science of the Gateway, Ancient Scientists and The Great Pyramid, your eyes will be open to the possibilities and makes you believe in the realities of other worlds.

Philip Gardiner makes comparisons throughout history that solidifies his findings.  He uses mythology, the Serpent Cult, Greek and Mesopotamia history as well as explaining the universe and how everything is connected.

The author gives us a recounting of our past and history.  He inspires us to find out the mystery of our dreams, about mythology and what lies beyond.  In his book, he sparks your curiosity and compels you to read on.

I consider myself an open-minded person and a concept such as this would leave me speculating as to what is fact and what is personal belief.  When some of us are looking for answers to the universe or a means of escape, Gateways to the Otherworld draws you to believe that it could be possible.

Philip is knowledgeable and has written many other books on this subject that have become best sellers.  The book is well-written, easily understood and highly researched.  He adds notes for the chapters, material locations of Gateways around the world and a timeline from 160,000 BC to 1896AD of the serpent worship.

Gateways to the Otherworld is an eye opening book that teaches us a lesson in burying our past and what could be in store for us in our future.
