Dr William Bradshaw, a graduate of the University of Missouri and Yale Divinity School, is one of the first and only Americans to hold a Ph.D in Demonology. He first became interested in demonology in 1961 - only sixteen years after the end of World War 2 Bradshaw recalls. Now retired, Dr Bradshaw devotes his time to research, writing and consulting.

Sinister Among Us tells the tale of a Christian school, Cyprus College, in Indiana which is threatened with a great number of problems. Firstly the financial side of things is in chaos and the accreditation board is considering withdrawing its support. Yet some how a financial specialist is at hand. He discovers that the college’s problems are more sinister then what meets the eye and it certainly does go well beyond financial difficulties.

In this tale there are some people involved with Satan and a demon-possessed mastermind who lies at the heart of the problems. This specialist however, turns his wits to try and catch this demonized culprit.  He also enlists the help of his friend from years back - a well respected scholar and authority of biblical demonology.

It is later discovered that beside financial difficulties, drugs and devilish goings-on, a prostitution ring is taking place using the students and abuse as power.

Dr. Bradley Green struggles to cope with all of this but he knows that he could be the only one to stop it. The thing is how?

You do become drawn into a world where evil lurks in every corner and no doubt you will become fascinated with Bradley Green and his encounters.

Not sure if this book is for everyone. To be honest I just got a little bored of the investigating and seemingly endless dialogue. I wanted more action to happen and more frightening things to take place but they didn’t. This is of course just my opinion and the book is still outstanding by a long way in this sort of genre. I don’t think there will be quite another book like this - it is certainly unique and the storyline interesting.

It explores things like good vs evil, religion and evil spirits and the study of Demonology.

Worthwhile sticking with this one even if you find parts boring. I’m sure there will be people out there snapping this up.
