I truly believe we all have a mission. Completing this mission should be our main focus. This book clearly reminds me of this fact.
“This could be the book that saves the world” is an understatement. If everyone read and lived this book of spiritual empowerment, we would never again have to worry about saving the world – as we know it.
The foil-woman is fascinating and reminds us that science does not hold the answers we believe it does. Martin says this,” Much of science today is based in an erroneous assumption, and for some this erroneous assumption has become dogma engraved in stone.” And, as in science, The Truth or the truth, will become widely known – “we simply have to wait for the diehards to die off.” However, I am thankful that I am not a diehard and received this masterpiece so that I could continue to grow and evolve – as I am supposed to do.
In my “lucid dream” here, I am the dreamer and also the character in my dream. I know that I am dreaming (matter slows down the process in order for us to grasp our lessons/mission), and I can control the dream, itself. In other words, the world (as we humanly know it) does not truly exist, but is necessary for us to experience the dream/lessons/mission – like in slow motion when viewing the old style home movies.
If we think it, it will become our reality. I like that and have believed it many years. The author shares with us the experience he had with vitamin E – he believed he would live longer and feel younger by taking the supplement. Although there’s no science backing this claim, Martin believed this would be the case if he faithfully swallowed the capsule. “Belief is extremely potent.” Martin goes further,” Belief is powerful. It is the key to manifesting your desires.” He sites a study “carried out on Discovery TV Channel” where one researcher believed in ESP and one did not. Everything was the same during the experiment – each got what he expected. This belief could also explain why prayer works.
“Contemplate this. Think of the universe as a mother. Think of humankind as a developing fetus. And think of Earth as a womb.” We are of One. However, “our ego minds and the illusion created by our brains as the nexus of our five senses keep us from recognizing this. We are fooled into thinking we are separate because our conscious awareness is centered in one location, and this location is not where the real action of this larger organism takes place.”I can see that if everyone believed – we would have no more racism, crime, unhappiness, needs left unfulfilled, or desires other than being with One.I believe this was once called Utopia?
I learned that the conscious mind is responsible, for example, identifying what that red, juicy and sometimes tart thing was that we just took a bite of – the apple. It calls on our memory and is stored with information, much like our computers. The subconscious mind “contains your personal evolutionary history – and your intuition. Some call this the soul.”In order to achieve the life we want (and are meant to have), “a good working arrangement is crucial” between the two – conscious and subconscious.
The medical schools don’t teach about “Life Force.” Why? “For starters, what animates the body? Nowhere in any of my college textbooks, including the one on biology, is there any reference to the Life Force – by this name of any other. Nothing even alludes to it.” Can science tell us exactly where memory is stored in the brain? How is “psychic phenomena – which has been scientifically demonstrated – be explained? If only matter exists, how does thought travel from one brain to another?” The scientific community claims to have scientific answers for many things, but these questions they cannot answer. Is it because there are no answers? Or, is it because the answers are not theirs to understand/give?
Our subconscious mind is in touch with the One. “It has access to, is immersed in, all the information needed in any situation.” When we use our conscious mind, we may have selected a plan to take care of a situation, but the opposite may happen. If we put the situation in the hands of our subconscious, letting it select the best plan, and act on it – we are assured of a healthy outcome. It may take a little practice in order to keep your ego mind, the conscious mind, out of the way long enough for you to become familiar with the subconscious mind (the one tied to the universe), so you can trust in it’s decisions. But once this connection is established, expect the right things to happen.
If you are ready to grow, the author has made available seven steps to follow on page 225. If I were not passing this book to another to read, I would cut this page out and frame it – to hang in every room of my home. My conscious mind likes to take the driver’s seat from time to time and needs reminding who is really in charge.
Martin shares with us steps to developing our intuition, as well. This takes some practice, but I believe if we ask, so shall it be given. However, be careful what you ask for – it just could be the book that could change you and the world!
I am forever grateful to Martin for sharing his beliefs and experiences. Now, I don’t feel so alone.
I highly recommend this book for all who want to complete their mission.
