Mary Kinney Branson, who has a B.A. degree, is president of AptWord, Inc. She is the author of more then sixteen books in the children and Christian genre as well as ghost-writing many more. She resides in Cumming, Georgia with husband Jack.
Jack Branson is a retired U.S Treasury Special Agent. He is a licensed private investigator with his own agency Branson & Associates, LLC. A relative of his,
businesswoman and multimillionaire Ann Branson is found dead in her basement. Her family are shocked at this horrific crime. What makes it even more shocking is the fact Ann was stabbed over 90 times - you really have to question what kind of monster can do this to somebody?
As the investigation takes off, everyone is waiting for the killer to be found and brought to justice. A nasty twist in this tale - it is beginning to look like the murderer may be closer to home then they think. But who is it?
Police are determined to catch whoever did this but they soon have to accept this crime is too unusual for them to solve. What can possibly be the outcome?
The authors, members of the Branson family, write descriptions that are quite detailed. I expect with them being so closely related to Ann, they do know what they are talking about yet I felt the story moved very slowly in some places. I stuck with it even though I found it an uphill struggle at times.
If you like reading books with so much detail then this should suit you, I have no doubt.
There are photographs included too but with so many accurate descriptions I wonder if we readers even need photographic proof? They feature one of the home where Ann was murdered and a parked ambulance waiting to transport Ann’s body from the crime scene. Pretty grim stuff.
Also of course, the most important illustration of them all - an FBI Most Wanted poster displaying the identifying photo of Russell Earl Winstead. He looks quite an unfriendly chap I thought!
I found this book a mixture of all sorts really, tedious in places yet thrilling in others. It might be more interesting to you if you had actually followed this case when it was in the news, as for me it was something I hadn’t heard about before. I found it very sad though to think that some poor woman actually died with over 90 stab wounds at the hands of this monster of a man. Very moving if you enjoy this sort of stuff.

Ron Howard: From Mayberry to the Moon..and Beyond by Beverly Gray
The following review was contributed by
NORM GOLDMAN, EDITOR OF BOOKPLEASURES
One of the advantages of an “unauthorized” biography is that it should offer a more creative and exciting challenges to the biographer and a much greater illumination to the reader.
There is always the danger when a biography is authorized that a conflict of interest may arise and the truth may be compromised.
Beverly Gray’s unauthorized biography Ron Howard From Mayberry to the Moon..and Beyond is a...

Murder…Suicide…Whatever…: A Fifi Cutter Mystery
Author: Gwen FreemanISBN: 139780977627615 With Murder…Suicide…Whatever…: A Fifi Cutter Mystery, Gwen Freeman, author, attorney, and artist has delivered a deceptively goofy thriller filled with dead-pan one-liners and punchy humor that would be the envy of many a stand-up comic. Freeman’s concocted plot zeros in on Fifi Cutter and her half brother Bosco Dorff who unannounced shows up one day on her doorstep. Fifi is highly suspicious of Bosco’s motives and doesn’t think highly of her free...
