Have you ever wondered what it would be like to bring Emily Dickinson back from the dead and ask her what she makes of her novels being published? Or perhaps ask Buddha what he makes of the band Nirvana? Well now you can!
Michael invites our old heroes and heroines back from the dead to interview them and share a few laughs along the way.
We have Crazy Horse, the chief of the Oglala Sioux tribe. With his many battles, he must have a tale or two to tell!
A name that will ring a bell for many women, Coco Chanel, should give us some interesting facts about how she started out her business as a French designer. She opened her first hat shop in 1909 and worked till her death when she passed away in her own private room at the Ritz. Michael asks her “What’s the Chanel look”? Find out what she says and read her fashion tips.
Joan of Arc also features, she was burned at the stake at the age of nineteen by the Duke of Bedford. Michael asks Joan the questions we’ve always wanted like “what was with the cross-dressing” . A great interview which gave me lots of laughs.
The whacky German American physicist Albert Einstein, known for his theories that changed the way we think about space and time, is also a big name that should encourage you to get this book.
Michael asks Einstein to explain his theories that space and time are linked. Very amusing but fascinating indeed. An excellent interview even though Einstein is now technically dead.
Our legendary blues singer, Robert Leroy Johnson, is also interviewed by Michael who asks “what’s the key to playing the blues?” and in return receives a rather amusing answer bound to make readers laugh. We all know the names out there who were influenced musically by Johnson (Elmore James, Muddy Waters etc) but who was/were the musicians that influenced him? Michael asks Johnson the questions you’ve always wanted.
There are other interviews with well-known legends such as: Frenchman General Napoleon Bonaparte, sculptor and artist Michelangelo, Chinese philosopher Confucius and also well-known poet Edgar Allan Poe.
I found a couple of the interviews a little off-putting which were mainly about the sex lives of these “dead guys” from our history. This is only my opinion, others may enjoy to read the crude yet funny discussions between Michael and these characters.
Of course, these interviews simply cannot be the real thing but Michael does offer something that everyone will definitely enjoy.
Even if you don’t know much about history, this is a great way to learn more. It can guarantee you lots of laughs too as you read this informative and thoroughly entertaining book.

After reading “Becoming Dead Right,” I understand it’s all about “love in work clothes” for her. She writes with style about a mostly untouched subject – death. Disinformation: The Interviews by Richard Metzger
Reviewed by Paul Lappen
For a couple of years, the Disinformation TV series
was shown in Britain. It dealt with all sorts of
strange topics. Through a quirk of fate, it was
scheduled right after Ally McBeal, an unintended bit
of surrealism. In America, the show was bought by the
Sci-Fi Channel, but never shown, because they suddenly
realized just what they had. The interviews reprinted
here represent the tame ""intellectual"" part of the show. The companion DVD contains the more...

Caught Dead & Other Catastrophes by T.G. Browining
The following review was contributed by:
TAMMY COOK
Caught Dead & Other Catastrophes is a collection of 25 anecdotal essays by
T.G. Browning. The book could be classified somewhere along the lines of
""warped memoirs."" Discussing topics as variable as high school sports, home
ownership, car ""maintenance,"" and getting lost while driving, Browning's
essays are very readable because many of his incidents will sound rather
familiar to most readers.
In addition, the book is full...
