Dad Today, Groom Tomorrow by Holly Jacobs

The following review was contributed by: SHERRY L.STOLL

Dad Today, Groom Tomorrow by Holly Jacobs is a Silhouette romance set in Lake Erie, Pennsylvania where the pregnant Louisa Clancy ran to seven years earlier leaving behind the love of her life, Joseph Delacamp. She never expected him to ever find out about their son, Aaron. Then one fateful day he was the new ER doctor in town and walked into her chocolate shop on Perry Square. She certainly never expected Joe would want to become part of his son’s life.

“Marry Me. When Louisa discovered she was pregnant she’d dreamed he’d say those words. Marry Me.

It’s what they’d always talked about. She’d always dreamed that she would one day marry Joe Delacamp, not matter that she was just a Clancy. Just the dirt-poor, town-drunk’s daughter.

Then he’d gotten engaged to Meghan Whitford. A girl from his social circle. A girl he’d always claimed was just a friend.

He’d said his parents had set it up.

Still, despite his pseudo-engagement, she’d always planned to tell him. To let him decide what he wanted to do. And then his mother had come to her and that one visit had changed everything…”

Dad Today, Groom Tomorrow by Holly Jacobs is a delightful and heartwarming read as Louisa, Joe, and Aaron learn to become a family with a little help from the quirky characters on Perry Square.

The following review was contributed by ROGER E. HERMAN Age-Old Wisdom, Easily Digested Untold numbers of books have been written about how to build wealth. They range from the get rich quick schemes to solid advice on investments. Some are so thick or so filled with formulas and charts that it takes an economist to understand them. Some are inspirational volumes that are filled with platitudes and little else. In this short book, Siegel spins a story that, at times, almost seems like a fable...
