Richard Singer, a practicing psychotherapist in the Cayman Islands, shows exceptional talent as an author with his new book, Your Daily Walk with the Great Minds of the Past and Present. He reminds us that "life is a series of tests, challenges, and difficulties" that we must work through on a daily basis. And, what better way than to have a relevant quote to help you focus on the day, a meditation or informational writing to guide your thoughts and a dedicated space for journaling responses, ideas and personal promises? This is psychotherapy coaching by a professional in the comfort of your own home and nothing could be more convenient.

This well thought out and inspirational book encourages a new way to focus on difficult areas, provides meaningful meditation to aid you in finding your potential in life, and suggestions that you may find helpful in conquering the weak areas. Everyone has a purpose in this world and Mr. Singer's masterpiece offers a path to shape your day and dares you to risk and grow -- to meet your true potential.

The quotes for each new day are from prominent people. The well-known and meaningful words of Gandi, Dr. Martin Luther King and others could not have more meaning than on the pages of Richard Singer's book. These are inspiring and honestly reveal another way to look at the subject - extremely beneficial.

With life, there comes changes, but each day is new, as are each of the points of meditation in Your Daily Walk with the Great Minds of the Past and Present. In July, Albert Einstein's observation, "Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," makes sense and is obvious, but how often do we not recognize insanity in our lives? The meditation helps to direct energy so that we can examine our inner beings and clarifies that by repeating something which continues not to work or creates problems in our lives may be rectified by looking for an alternative. Completing the day's focal point, the journaling question asks, "How will you resist insanity today?" No answer is right or wrong, but if you're serious about making changes in your life, your thoughts and ideas jotted here may be helpful.

After reading this work, you may realize that you do not have to continue to struggle through life. As Richard Singer says, "Everything worthy of discovery is within the essence of your being." After reading the quotes, the encouraging meditations, and reviewing the journaling prompts, you will have the tools that will allow you to begin getting in touch with your spiritual being -- that entity inside of you that holds everything that makes you - you. If you thirst for true meaning in life, Your Daily Walk with the Great Minds of the Past and Present by Richard A. Singer, Jr. is a necessity.

This book provides for the three essential ways human beings absorb information -- hearing (quotes), seeing (meditations), and hands-on (journaling). Highly recommended.
